Trojan Volleyball Sweeps Conference Rival New Plymouth

Trojan Varsity Volleyball took out New Plymouth in 3 straight sets, winning: 25-19, 25-17 and 25-12. Across the front and back rows, the Trojans were solid with big digs, strong kills and strategic putaways throughout all three sets. Trojan service was solid as well.
The win against New Plymouth puts the Trojans in a 3-Way tie for 2nd place in Conference. At 2-1 in conference, the Trojans are tied with Ambrose and Vision Charter. Melba tops the conference at 4-0 but needed 5 sets to put away Cole Valley Christian last night at Melba. The Trojans beat Cole Valley Christian 3-0, making this Thursday’s rematch with Melba a very possible and important win for the Trojans.
The JV team continued it’s dominance, beating New Plymouth JV in 2 straight: 25-14 and 25-12.
Frosh/Soph (JVB) came up with an exciting 3 set win: 25-18, 16-25 and 16-14.
