In their first game of the season, The Trojan JV squad played a game that was a lot closer than the score might indicate. Trojan JV kept the game close, trailing just 6-o with less than five minutes remaining in the first half. Fruitland scored with less than a minute to play in the first half, making the score 0-12 at the break.

Thanks to short fields and strong running, Fruitland opened up the second half with a scoring drive and scored on two more drives in the game.

The Trojans scored on their first possession of the second half, set up by a strong run from #23, Mathew Nevarez. The Trojans final score came in the 4th quarter when #33 Mason McDaniel stripped the ball from Fruitland’s running back and took the rock 50 yards for the defensive touchdown.
