Wow. 48-0 at the half and 76-0 at games’ end. Obviously, it was a “score at will” night for Trojan football. Coach Jenkins had the field filled mostly with JV players from late in the first half, through much of the second. Total offense was close to 500 yards with a good mix of rushing and passing plays.

By the end of the 1st quarter, the Trojans led 28-0. #5, Senior Quarterback Landon Cheney already had gone 2 for 4 passing with a 53 yard TD pass to Senior #1 Dane Bradshaw. Bradshaw and #4 Caleb Johnson already had nearly 100 yards rushing between them. The Trojan defense, anchored by Senior d-linemen #79 Gabe Bollin and #76 Cody Greentree, had a forced a turnover and forced Valley 4 and out (turnover on downs) on their first 2 drives. After the 1st quarter, the Trojans never looked back.

We should give some credit to Valley. This is likely their last year playing 11 man football as they are hoping to move down a classification, into 1A where they would play 8 man football next year in a new conference and classification. Wish them the very best.
