Beth Kinzler Steps Away As Nampa Christian Softball Coach
July 23, 2021

With tears and joyful sadness, Beth Kinzler has announced that she will not return as the Head Coach for The Nampa Christian Trojans Softball team. Coach Kinzler made a special effort to sit down with each of her players this week. Sharing with each player, personally, her love for them and her reasons for stepping away, Coach Kinzler said her coaching goodbyes. Coach Kinzler made her decision through much prayer and soul searching. Ultimately, she felt God calling her to deliberately create more opportunities to be with her middle school children and her husband, Nampa Christian Board Member, Chip Kinzler.
Coach Kinzler did more than coach her girls, so much more. Through Coach Kinzler’s connections and support in local area softball circles, Nampa Christian was blessed to help fund the softball field through Kinzler’s relationship with Idaho Women’s Sports legend, Martha Hopkins. Through her dedication and commitment and that of her players and families, Beth Kinzler put Nampa Christian Softball on the map. In her time as the Softball Head Coach, Kinzler was instrumental in building the Trojans program from scratch. A team that sent their first player, Jessie Wood, onward as a scholarshipped softball athlete in 2020.
We look forward to supporting Coach Kinzler as she moves forward with her family…and we know that Trojan Softball and the entire Trojan Nation are part of her family…and she a part of ours.
Beth, we thank you, we’re prayerful with you and we know we’ll see you around Trojan softball and other Trojan athletics!
